One of the best parts about vacation is that you get to stay in a hotel. Room service, housekeeping, and other amenities like massages and concierge service make being away from home a treat. Not wanting to miss out on a golden opportunity many condos and apartment complexes throughout the US are adopting similar programs that allow residents to feel like they are always on vacation.
It’s one of the best ways to attract new tenants. With hundreds of complexes in big cities to choose from services such as these allow complexes to stand out above their traditional counterparts. Depending on the complex many of these services come free of charge. Others, like the massages, are charged additional fees, but most are willing to pay them for the convenience.
Actor Robert DeNero is getting in on the new trend. As part owner of Nobu, a local restaurant, DeNiro along with his partners and real estate developer Swing Equities, will be planning condo development in the Financial District. Those who live in the development will have access to room service from the restaurant and will be given priority when it comes to making reservations.
It might seem outlandish to live in a complex that offers room service from a top notch restaurant or to have a weekly housekeeping service come in and clean for you but most think it’s a great idea. In a fast paced environment you don’t always have time to plan for things so having them at your fingertips, or just a phone call away, is priceless.
